Who can join the Purdue Alumni Association?

Our association welcomes and values anyone who loves Purdue. Many of our members attended Purdue, but you don't need to be a Purdue graduate to show your support.

What is the Purdue Alumni Association mission?

The purpose of the Purdue Alumni Association is to serve its members, to encourage the interest of all alumni and friends in the University and in each other, and to contribute to the quality and progress of Purdue University. Specific to our mission, Purdue Alumni seeks to:

  • Deliver quality services to members of the Association
  • Serve as the gateway for the University to all graduates and friends
  • Prepare Purdue students to appreciate their Purdue connections as they achieve success in our society

What are the membership levels for Purdue Alumni Association?

The Purdue Alumni Association offers both annual and life membership options.

Is my contribution tax deductible?

A portion of your membership dues payment may be tax deductible. The dues in excess of the fair market value of benefits received are deductible. We will send you a letter containing an estimate of the fair market value as part of your membership kit. If you have any questions, please send an e-mail to

Does my membership count towards my Purdue University giving total?

Yes. Beginning July 1, 2014, all memberships to the Purdue Alumni Association are considered gifts to Purdue and are credited at full value in the donor's giving record to the University.

What is the Purdue Alumnus?

Published quarterly, the magazine highlights the accomplishments of Purdue alumni and covers campus activities. The magazine is exclusively for our members of the association.

How do I find my Constituent ID so I can register for the website?

Your Constituent ID can be found on the back of your membership card, or printed on the mailing label of your Purdue Alumnus magazine. Only the last four digits of your Constituent ID are required to register. If you can't find your Constituent ID, please contact or call us at (800) 414-1541.

I just purchased a membership, when will my membership card arrive?

Your membership packet, including the membership card, tax information, and benefit details, will arrive within 3-4 weeks of your purchase date.

I lost my membership card, can I get a replacement?

Yes, please e-mail with your name and address and we will send you a new card.

How do I make a donation to the Alumni Association?

You can make a donation to the Alumni Association on our website by clicking here. Donations are also accepted over the phone at (800) 414-1541, or by mailing in your payment. Please make checks payable to Purdue Alumni Association.

How do I get a Purdue Alumni e-mail address?
