Student Homecoming Activities

Friday, November 6

9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.  
Registration / Medallion pick up, Morning snacks and coffee
Purdue Memorial Union Room 118 
Check-in for all alumni, get your picture taken, and sign in to let folks know you are on campus
Members of the Class of 1965 may pick up their 50th reunion medallion

9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.  — Campus Bus Tours
There will be multiple stops around campus.  The bus tours are FREE.

11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.  — School / College Luncheons

12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.  — Alumni clubs lunch
Prusiecki Banquet Room

2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.  — Keynote speaker
Fowler Hall
This year's speaker is Orlando Ashford, the president of Holland Cruises

3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.  — Ice cream social for the Class of 1965
Pappy's in the Purdue Memorial Union
This event is FREE.

5:30 p.m. – 7:45 p.m.  — Celebration Dinner
Purdue Memorial Union - North and South Ballrooms
The cost for this event is $25 per person

7:30 p.m.  — Homecoming Parade
Pierce/State Street to Mackey Arena
Celebrate with friends at the Boilermaker Night Train Parade! The parade will feature walking units, vehicles and floats made by student organizations and local businesses. The route will begin at the corner of Pierce and State Street, west on State Street, north on Martin Jischke Drive, east on Third Street before turning north on University Street and ending at Mackey Arena. The parade will highlight this year’s theme “Bundle Up Boilers”. Come celebrate our university and community at the parade!

Saturday, November 7

9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. —  Homecoming Celebration

Stadium Mall between Pharmacy and Armstrong buildings

Noon — Purdue vs. Illinois
Ross-Ade Stadium
Kickoff is at noon.

8:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m. — Homecoming Dance
Purdue Memorial Union - North and South Ballrooms 
The band "Living Proof" will perform music from several decades.  The dress code is casual.


Sunday, November 8

8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.  — Alumni Reunion Breakfast
Prusiecki Banquet Room
This event is FREE.  Only for Purdue Alumni from the Class of 1965 and a guest.
